Sri Sri : Just relax! and be dead now! shareer ko kyun marte ho (why do you want to kill your body ?) Restlessness is in your mind. By destroying your body you are not going to get anything. Kill the mind, that is there real death you are looking for. If your mind dies you relax. If this does not happen you cannot relax. By destroying your body don't think you will be at peace. You have come to the right place. Killing your body your restlessness remains. Your body is a sacred thing. It belongs to God! What makes you so restless is your desire.

Drop that craving of yours and your mind becomes calm. You want to compete with someone and when you cannot you become restless. All ambitions make you restless. Kill your ambition , throw your ambition out. If you are peaceful from inside you can do anything . aatma hatya karoge tho 400 -500 saal ghoomte rahoge (If you commit suicide you will keep going round and round for 400-500 years !) It is like - when you are feeling cold do you need more blankets or u taking off your clothes will help ???!!!

Once Buddha along with his disciples happened to pass a lake. They stopped there and Buddha told one of his disciples, "I am thirsty. Do get me some water from that lake there."


The disciple walked up to the lake. When he reached it, he noticed bullock cart crossing through the lake. As a result, the water became very muddy, very turbid. The disciple thought, "How can I give this muddy water to Buddha to drink!"

So he came back and told Buddha, "The water in there is very muddy. I don't think it is fit to drink."

After about half an hour, again Buddha asked the same disciple to go back to the lake and get him some water to drink. The disciple obediently went back to the lake and found the mud was settled a bit but still not fit for drinking. He returned and informed Buddha about the same.

After sometime, again Buddha asked the same disciple to go back.

The disciple reached the lake to find the lake absolutely clean and clear with pure water in it. The mud had settled down and the water above it was crystal clear. So he collected some water in a pot and brought it to Buddha.


Buddha looked at the water, and then he looked up at the disciple and said," See what you did to make the water clean ...You just let it be....

and the mud settled down on its own - and you got clear water.

Budha continued "Your mind is also like that! When it is disturbed.....just let it be...... Give it a little time. It will settle down on its own. You don't have to put in any effort to calm it down......... It will happen. "It is effortless."

Q: Do you know everybody's mind?

Sri Sri: You know what happened when we were coming to Surat from Mumbai in train for Mahasatsang. There were two ladies in the same train as we were travelling in. They were longing to meet me. They couldn't meet me in Mumbai and thought it would be almost impossible to meet in Surat.

Few devotees where scheduled to meet me at Valsad station. Before we could finish the train started. Me and Rishi Nityaprogya ji (Nitin Bhaiya) ran and jumped into one of the boggies. It was a ladies coach [Huge laughter]. The two ladies were sitting in the same boggie. They started crying like anything after seeing me. Then I sat with them for half an hour and spoke to them. Longing always increases but never gets completed. Love increases but never completes.

During my agnyat vaas, I asked our driver, to drive the car in some remote village. I asked him to take left and right, here and there.Then I asked him to stop in front of a small house. It was a farmers house. Once I entered the house, everybody saw me. The whole family was so happy to see me. The farmer said he wanted to see me since such a long time but never knew how to reach me. Then I also visited a few farmers near by, they also wanted to meet me since long but would never get a chance due to their duties and work. I spent some time talking to them. They all became very happy. So you never know when I'll go where. I can come anywhere, anytime. So better keep you house neat and clean.

The Ant works hard in the withering heat all summer building its house and laying up supplies for the winter. The Grasshopper thinks the Ant is a fool and laughs & dances & plays the summer away.Come winter, the Ant is warm and well fed. The Grasshopper has no food or shelter so he dies out in the cold.

Come winter, the shivering Grasshopper calls a press conference and demands to know why the Ant should be allowed to be warm and well fed while others are cold and starving. NDTV, BBC, CNN show up to provide pictures of the shivering Grasshopper next to a video of the Ant in his comfortable home with a table filled with food. The World is stunned by the sharp contrast. How can this be that this poor Grasshopper is allowed to suffer so?
Arundhati Roy stages a demonstration in front of the Ant's house.
Medha Patkar goes on a fast along with other Grasshoppers demanding that Grasshoppers be relocated to warmer climates during winter.

Mayawati states this as `injustice' done on Minorities.Amnesty International and Koffi Annan criticize the Indian Government for not upholding the fundamental rights of the Grasshopper.

The Internet is flooded with online petitions seeking support to the Grasshopper (many promising Heaven and Everlasting Peace for prompt support as against the wrath of God for non-compliance). Opposition MPs stage a walkout.

Left parties call for 'Bengal Bandh' in West Bengal and Kerala demanding a Judicial Enquiry. CPM in Kerala immediately passes a law preventing Ants from working hard in the heat so as to bring about equality of poverty among Ants and Grasshoppers.

Lalu Prasad allocates one free coach to Grasshoppers on all Indian Railway Trains, aptly named as the 'Grasshopper Rath'.

Finally, the Judicial Committee drafts the ' Prevention of Terrorism Against Grasshoppers Act' [POTAGA], with effect from the beginning of the winter. Arjun Singh makes 'Special Reservation ' for Grasshoppers in Educational Institutions & in Government Services . The Ant is fined for failing to comply with POTAGA and having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, it's home is confiscated by the Government and handed over to the Grasshopper in a ceremony covered by NDTV. Arundhati Roy calls it ' A Triumph of Justice'. Lalu calls it 'Socialistic Justice '.. CPM calls it the ' Revolutionary Resurgence of the Downtrodden ' Koffi Annan invites the Grasshopper to address the UN General Assembly.

Many years later....

The Ant has since migrated to the US and set up a multi-billion dollar company in Silicon Valley , 100s of Grasshoppers still die of starvation despite reservation somewhere in India, .

.......AND As a result of loosing lot of hard working Ants and feeding the grasshoppers, . .. . . . . . . . .


India is still a developing country&!!!

Just not enough words or thoughts to describe what happened and what all of us experienced on 21st of March 2010 when Swami Suryapada led a 150+ group of highly charged youngsters to a mesmerizing satsang starting at 11 am and ending at only 2:30 pm. Swami Vishnupadji also graced the occasion with his gracious presence.There were more than 12 bhajans and each bhajan was not short by any means but I think no one remembers the count because we all were lost in some another realm of existence where everything merges into "THAT" the blissful presence!



The North Bangalore Team did a splendid job of organising such a grand event.It was for the first time that the entire Yes+ team of bangalore participated wholeheartedly for a Satsang led by Chayanna and it was the first YES+ special satsang for Chayanna himself. We had great support from the team led by Karpagavalli from Koramangala who had come a busfull!! and also Shailendra and team from Jayanagar brought lots of enthu!! And of course Kapil and Ramya added an inter-city touch for bringing participants from Mysore and they were the loudest!

Once again congratulations to all of us for it was great fun organizing this event ..... I was thinking we should have more such events and invite the likes of Harshal bhaiya, Vikram bhaiya,Rishi Nityapragya, Rishi Vidyadharji etc.... What do you think of this????? Leave a comment!
