My name is Sridharakrishnan Natarajan. Born in 08th August 1982. I am basically from a place called Tirunelveli in Tamilnadu but currently put up in Bangalore. I have done my BE from Madurai Kamaraj University and currently aspiring to become an entrepreneur. I can speak Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, English and basic German. I recently become a YES+ teacher and have assisted 3 Yes+ courses so far. I have organized and assisted nearly 8-10 Basic courses before I went for my TTC. Also I have organized a tree plantation camp, a few orphanage visits and organized/assisted a countable number of Navchetanas. I was also an integral member of the team which organized a DSN in Malleswaram( taken by Anandji) which was attended by nearly 140 participants.  My hobbies are playing/watching cricket, watching movies, reading autobiographies and books on spirituality. My passion is to do something for India that would create some impact in the way people live, in the way our Indian bureaucracy works and also revolutionize our constitution. I believe only spirituality can do this because it has the power to make people stand in one platform cutting across their social and economic background and am pretty confident that I would be able to achieve this one day with the eternal blessing of my Master Sri Sri Ravishankarji.

Jai guru dev!!
Im Apurva, a student of architecture studying

in M.S Ramaiah institute of technology, bangalore.

Yes+ changed my life in every aspect. It was 6 days tightly packed with loads of fun, joy, love and knowledge. From a shy reserved person i grew out to become an enthusiastic, friendly person . I was able to socialise and make a lot of friends after doing the course. The relationship between me and my parents improved.

Ever since i started practicing the sudarshan kriya which was taught to me in the yes+, I started improving in my academics drastically. I was able to work efficiently maintaining a calm state of mind. I am now able to study and work efficiently in a shorter span of time with minimum effort.

The yes+ upgrade was mind blowing. I was a barrier breaker. It brought out skills within me which i knew not and learnt to use those skills the smart way. I learnt to make best use of each minute of the day.

Ever since i did the yes + i decided to tell every person i knew about it . I want every single youth to enjoy and experience what i did in the course. I told all my friends about the course and brought them to the introductory talk. Recently i organized a yes+ games carnival in sanjaynagar. In 2003, I was one among a group of art of living members who took part in the ‘save our environment ’ movement. We marched across the city starting from cubbon park protesting against the cutting of trees for road construction. I also took part in the pada yatra conducted in Sanjaynagar and Yelahanka, moving door to door to invite the general public for the silver jubilee and in general to increase the awareness of the public about the art of living. I have also volunteered in the women conference and the silver jubilee celebration. I had the opportunity to invite and receive the delegates. Doing seva just brings joy within me. It has widened my horizon. I got an opportunity to do a lot of cool things which would not have dreamt of doing..

I attended the YES+ workshop because of phone call that i received one summer morning from an old college friend. Something about it appealed to me.
At the workshop, the first thing that struck me was the high level of energy-both of the participants and the teacher, you get caught up in the energy and start enjoying every minute of it. The processes in the workshop cause you to immediately form a bond with the other participants.
I've always wanted to be better at what i do and do more than i do, the simple teachings at the workshop showed me how.None of the the advice and points are philosophical as one might think when they hear "Art of living"/Spirituality,etc,instead they are simple, crisp and easy to grasp. They are points you use immediately as you walk out of the hall, you realise the difference and then it makes a big impact on you.
You always know that the mind is important, but most people don't know just how important learning to control it is,setting this as the agenda for the simply fantastic Sudarshan Kriya, the teachers take you on a sublime journey to a space previously unknown to you.The state of mind after your first kriya is indescribable, you look around and you see that all the other participants were also touched in the the same way,all of their faces a picture of peace and tranquillity, an experience that begets words.
As the workshop gets into its 3rd and 4th day, you begin to feel lighter, problems that troubled you previously fall by the way side, you smile just as ridiculously as the volunteers do,your family thinks your going nuts, you realize they're living in a rut! As the workshop draws to a close, the people you met only 5 days ago seem like family, you walk out new and improved, refreshed and ready to apply the wonderful knowledge you've gained.
On the whole,it was the best decision i've made to do the workshop,i only wished i'd done it earlier! You interact with positive, energetic people, gain valuable knowledge and learn a beautiful, simple & effective meditative process to control your mind. You can then proceed to do anything you put your 'mind' to!

Those five days was an unforgettable journey which changed the whole meaning of my being. it was five solid days of a rave party which is rather considered legal!!! it was my entry into a whole new world called ' THE ART OF LIVING'...
doing it under bawa and dinesh bhaiya was like adding chunks of chocolate to an already flavoured death by chocolate... the twinkle in their eyes when i first saw them was hypnotising!!!! a whole new insight into oneself was just jolting each nerve in my body... though we were a whooping 150 seeing each other for the first time, i felt 'I BELONG TO YOU',and shall always belong, because this is where i belong!!! i was blessed to be there that day, that moment...
In short in those five days i only realised, WHAT IT IS,TO BE ME!!!! never felt so content before!!!!!

love u,
jai gurudev...

The list of YES+ volunteers in North Bangalore is quite long so it would have been too long to include all in one go so we thought of doing it in parts...... So this list is by no means exhaustive and you can expect another one rather soon.
Rather than writing about each person or telling them to write about themselves, we thought it best to let the democratic process take over and let everyone(those who were present) to write about others.... so here it goes....

"A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step......"
Yes+ has come a long way in the past 4 or more years since the first course was taken in North Bangalore.
I still remember the initial days where there were a few handful of volunteers from North Bangalore.
But since everything has a beginning, this is the first step of developing and maintaining an intimate space
in the blogosphere and in the internet as a whole for all the events and experiences... of Yes+ warriors in North Bangalore

What is the goal of this blog?

*All the events to be held and events happened will be documented here.Lets you know about the upcoming
events and happenings and after you have participated in the event you can go home and check out the cool
photos taken in the event and also the event details and participant's experiences.
*To let all the volunteers unleash their creativity by excercising their writing skills, photography etc.
*To let fresh ideas blossom......New suggestions and improvisations on the existing system are most welcome.
*To provide a platform for all volunteers and teachers to interact and express themselves.
*Share your talents and let everyone know about it(Upload images, videos etc..)

Inspiration?

Inspired by the undying enthusiasm and creativity of all the Yes+ volunteers in North Bangalore.
