At the workshop, the first thing that struck me was the high level of energy-both of the participants and the teacher, you get caught up in the energy and start enjoying every minute of it. The processes in the workshop cause you to immediately form a bond with the other participants.
I've always wanted to be better at what i do and do more than i do, the simple teachings at the workshop showed me how.None of the the advice and points are philosophical as one might think when they hear "Art of living"/Spirituality,etc,instead they are simple, crisp and easy to grasp. They are points you use immediately as you walk out of the hall, you realise the difference and then it makes a big impact on you.
You always know that the mind is important, but most people don't know just how important learning to control it is,setting this as the agenda for the simply fantastic Sudarshan Kriya, the teachers take you on a sublime journey to a space previously unknown to you.The state of mind after your first kriya is indescribable, you look around and you see that all the other participants were also touched in the the same way,all of their faces a picture of peace and tranquillity, an experience that begets words.
As the workshop gets into its 3rd and 4th day, you begin to feel lighter, problems that troubled you previously fall by the way side, you smile just as ridiculously as the volunteers do,your family thinks your going nuts, you realize they're living in a rut! As the workshop draws to a close, the people you met only 5 days ago seem like family, you walk out new and improved, refreshed and ready to apply the wonderful knowledge you've gained.
On the whole,it was the best decision i've made to do the workshop,i only wished i'd done it earlier! You interact with positive, energetic people, gain valuable knowledge and learn a beautiful, simple & effective meditative process to control your mind. You can then proceed to do anything you put your 'mind' to!
